Refund Policy

When we refund, when we do not, and why the free tier exists in the shape it does.

Last updated 5 September 2026

Try before you pay

The free tier carries a monthly allowance of points, needs no card, and produces real files with no watermark. It exists so you can evaluate the platform on a document that matters to you before any money changes hands - which is a better outcome for both of us than a refund conversation.

Subscription refunds

If you subscribe and find within 14 days that the platform does not do what you needed, write to us and we will refund that period in full, provided the account has not consumed a substantial part of its allowance.

After 14 days, subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and will not renew. We do not pro-rate the remainder of a paid month.

Failed jobs

Points consumed by a job that failed for a fault on our side are returned to your ledger automatically. If that has not happened, tell us and we will correct it.

Points consumed by a job that completed are not refunded on the grounds that the result was disappointing. Restoration is a best-effort process on damaged material, and the honest limit of what survives on a given document is not something we control.

Moving up a tier

An upgrade takes effect immediately and is charged from that point. If you upgrade and then find the larger plan was not what you needed, the 14-day window above applies to it in the same way.

How to ask

Write to support@docovly.com from the address on the account, say what happened, and we will deal with it. Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually take five to ten working days to appear.
